Preparation:

  1. Peel the garlic cloves. Mix them in a blender with the lemon juice, anise, olive oil and parsley leaves. Add the peppercorns.
  2. Remove the guts from the sardines. Do not remove the scales.
  3. Place the sardines in a deep dish and cover them with the sauce from the blender.
  4. Marinate them for two hours at room temperature.
  5. Grill the sardines on the No Fat Grill for 3 minutes. Remove the scales. Season with salt flakes and, optionally, with pink pepper.
